Landing Back in the States

Taking a year off to travel in South America (in Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina) to discover new passions (as well as explore established ones) has been one of the scariest and most rewarding things I have done in my life. I can’t tell you how much I pondered the decision before going, and I can’t tell you how happy I am that I made that leap. In fact, now I never want to stop leaping. Much more to come about this topic, but for now, here is a link to my travel blog where I have been jotting observations over the last year since April 2010: sashacagen.com.

I am currently in the Bay Area, exploring my interests and passions to let the next calling for my life take hold, bit by bit. Life feels longer and more vast and interesting to me with distinct periods, and I know that what I do next will not be exactly what I have done before. So this is really a quite curious and exhilarating time of exploration. I enjoy collaboration as a key element in my work, and if you think we may have a vision in common, please contact me by email and perhaps we will grab coffee.
